As a Pn1 Certified and Master Certified Health Coach, I partner with clients to help them meet their long term health and wellness goals. Through the Precision Nutrition certification I adopted the use of habit-based coaching so that these skills are learned for life and there is no need for dieting. Through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute I studied the four pillars of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition that my coaching is based on. With the Advanced Coaching Certification, my training focused on the concepts of Motivational Interviewing, Appreciative Coaching and Compassionate Communication.
After 20 years in the corporate world I wanted to change careers. Coaching others was one of most important aspects of my job that I truly enjoyed. During my transition, I spent time changing my lifestyle so that I could eat, live and move better. Partnering with my coach was such a positive experience for me that I decided I wanted to do the same for others. I am excited to now be a part of Team PeakFAST (http://nkyfitness.com) to offer health coaching services. This also allows me to have access to a strong group of coaches that can provide support for the ‘exercise’ component of LEAN.
