Hi! I’m Jen Rizzo, and it’s my goal to help you create a strategy and action plan that you can fit into your current lifestyle and can sustain for the long term. No dieting. No restrictions. No crazy exercise regimen. We are allies working toward your goals.

A few key points about me…

I spent over 21 years in the field of corporate technology. I came to the realization that I needed a career change, but didn’t know what that meant. As I took some time off, I began my own health & wellness journey. I wanted to figure out ways of feeling better each day and solving my chronic back issue. As I began strength training I found myself getting stronger and feeling leaner. I ventured into nutrition changes as well to help nourish my body as it was changing.

It then came time to get back to work. I realized how much I loved what I was learning about nutrition and exercise that I began my own education and certification process. I am a Master Certified Health Coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and Level 1 and Level 2 certified with Precision Nutrition. In June, I will sit for the National Board Exam for health coaches.

Daily learning is key to my growth and a passion of mine. I want everyone to wake up feeling great and ready to tackle their day with as much energy and passion as possible.

On a personal note…

I love reading, running, the Cincinnati Reds, live music and just being outdoors!

The biggest personal win for me as I made this transition to health coaching is what I’ve been able to accomplish once I started setting goals around my own personal health. I now deadlift my weight in the gym. Never would have expected this going into the gym that first day. I started to include running as a secondary exercise to the gym. It started off as more of a social gathering while we ran. Well that has since transformed into me running my first half marathon last Fall and currently training for my second. I also added yoga into my routine to provide a different outlet for me and a form of active recovery. Our bodies are amazing when we give the them chance. Learning that we all have the power to be what we want to be and do what we want to do is the reason I am a coach.

So while I’m a big fan of creating strategies and plans, working the through obstacles that will challenge the plan and clearing the clutter of information that’s out there related to health, wellness, nutrition and exercise,  my approach is all about YOU!
